At Aotearoa Dispensary, our events are created to bring people together through food, music, culture and shared experiences.

Throughout the year we host a small number of carefully curated gatherings that celebrate the changing seasons, the people within our community, and the unique character of Aotearoa.

Each event is designed to be more than just a night out. We work alongside local musicians, artists, makers, eateries and community leaders to create memorable experiences that encourage connection, conversation and celebration.

Our annual event calendar currently includes:

Harvest Festival

Held on the first Saturday of May, Harvest Festival celebrates the end of the growing season and the abundance that comes with it. It is an opportunity for our community to come together, share stories, acknowledge the work of the season, and celebrate the harvest.

The Harvest Cup

Held annually in June, The Harvest Cup showcases the very best of the season through a blind judging competition and community celebration. Bringing together growers, makers and enthusiasts from around the country, the event recognises craftsmanship, dedication and excellence while creating an unforgettable experience for attendees. Sow the Seed 

Held on the first weekend of September, Sow the Seed marks the transition into warmer days and longer evenings. Combining music, food and community, Sow the Seed is a celebration of the grow season starting, connection to the plant and the changing seasons.

AD x Whakamāna Christmas Party

Held during the first week of December, our Christmas Party brings together friends, supporters and community members to celebrate another year of achievements, friendships and shared experiences. It is our opportunity to thank the people who make these events possible and finish the year on a high note.
